Phi Phi Sunset Bay Resort - Photos
Ce que les gens disent
I loved our stay at phi phi sunset. We checked in at phi phi inn on the main beach, then about 30 minutes later we were on the long tail boat to the other side of the beach. The staff at both locations were very friendly and helpful. The staff at sunset resort was very friendly and helpful as well but his English wasn't so good. The view was unbelievable, we could have sat out there all day. It's a ver basic room and you have to remember you're in the woods not a luxury resort. We only stayed o. tous commentaires »
The location is amazing, our bungalow was ready before check in time. It was clean and the view is just priceless!
The boat trip was free till 10 pm
Breakfast was somehow included even if not mentioned in the booking
We had a great stay at the resort and would recommend it to friends and family!.
the rooms were amazing. sea facing balcony the best spot on phi phi to watch the sun setting. the staff was helpful. the room was big and beautiful. value foor money. the best part was open roof shower. the room for a honeymooning couple.
I loved the location of the Hotel coz' it stays near the forest, away from city, but they have boat for free so we can get to the party in the city for just 10 minutes....it´s awesome!.
We really liked the location if this hotel! You feel like you are in wild jungle! Villas are wonderful!.
The remote location
The view
Posibility of free longtail boat ride to town.
The superb location of the bungalow;view
Help of the staff.
the vieuw!!!!.
It's a small and cosy set of bungalows located in the jungle. The
view from the terrace is great, especially in the evening. We heard the
music from the clubs but it didn't bother us sleeping. It's not
mentioned on the site, but there is a small breakfast included in the
price. A great base to explore the bay by kayak (there is a rental
facility in the resort).
The accomadation is situated on the hill side facing the sea, great view and modest facilities, no A/C but this was ok for us. The staff were helpful both at the resort and Phi Phi Inn.
Staff was friemelt.
We didn't actually stay in that hotel due to the location. We booked in another one on the go, so my "clean" and "comfort" marks may not be accurate.
The view from the hut was nice.
You have to plan on ur trip to the main beach at least 30 minutes or more before you need to be there. We had a tour at 2pm, came down at 1:10, waited till 2, with the guy saying "coming, five minutes" over and over. We literally ended up running to the boat as they waited ten minutes for us!
The beach outside the hotel isn't swim able but right across the way it's amazing.
Nothing to do with the resort itself but the noise up on the beach can be heard more or less even that far from it... From background music to quite loud depending on the winds!.
a bit far from the main beach. during low tide the boat dosent run so have to walk for 20-25 mins to reach the beach.
They don´t have air conditioner and light on the way of stairs to the rooms, so during the night it was dangerous to walk on the dark.
1) While my husband was taking shower I've heard the sound of running water somewhere in the street. And when I looked down from our balcony - I sow that the the soil pipe was open right in the street and all waste from canalization is poured out right in jungle! That's awful!
2) There is no a safe box in the room.
High price
Pretty long walk to the town. Part of the trail is not illumnated.
Difficult path , beach party resounding over the bay ;not the owners
fault of course.
not easy to get there.
The transport form the town to the hotel by long tail boat is not
available while there is a low tide and after 00h00 (after 22h00 you
have to pay). One can walk to the town but a part of the way leads
through a jungle path so it's better to ask somebody in the hotel to
show you the way first. No hot water in the shower (and the cold water
is really cold), no internet, some big bugs/snails in the bathroom.
There is a boat available to take guests to Phi Phi Beach and this is cool apart from when the swell was a little strong the boat got cancelled and this meant walking. It's only 20 mins but if you get lost, as we did twice and having been drinking, of course, then the track is not clear and we managed to get lost twice. The boat driver will escort you if you ask.
It is a Big problem with the lokation, that the noise (ekstremly loud music from the restaurants at the townbeach) completly ruin the sleep at the sunset bay resort. We can not recomment the place unless the music gets much, much, much lower. A great pitty for a in many ways good hotel.
When we arrived, we have to contact the recetion at Phi Phi Inn en they will bring us to the Phi Phi sunset resort. They did not bring us to The resort we booked.. They said there was no boat to bring us.. So we had t.
The hotel is not where it seems to be according to letsbookhotel.com map, but much further. It is like 20 min walking up and down the mountain through country tracks. Very difficult to find. Horrible to get there if you are carring luggage case instead of a backpack. The lobby is actually in the middle of the town, in Phi Phi Inn.
There is no wifi in the hostel despite it saying on the page that there is 'free wifi access'.
The 'free boat' doesn't run most of the time due to the tide. You can walk to the main beach but it takes 10/15 walking through countryside. It's not a walkway, you have to go off track and walk through countryside.
The staff speak little English.
There was a mouse in our room on the first night.
