  I have never stayed in a hotel with such a friendly and hospitably staff. They even helped us to organize our journey to Cambodia and gave us their telephone number in case of any troubles. The rooms are nice and adequately furnished.   Very close to Nana station. Hot shower, good air con, small refrigerator, TV, and free Wi-Fi in room. My room was with one king bed and big window. The room was on the opposite side of the road, so very quiet at night. I got the hotel at 8 am, then they let me check in at that time without an extra charge. Staff are willing to accommodate reasonable needs and are always smiling. Considering the cost, I would definitely stay again.

  We booked 4 nights in Amber Hotel. Arrived in Amber Hotel on 19th September, we were told the hotel was overbooked and we were asked to move in to other hotel for the first night. The staff from Amber hotel promised to upgrade our room for the rest of our stay. The Hotel we moved in was horrible. The first night in Amber, air-condition was not working, staff - The staff is amazing and very helpful. The hotel is such a great value for money in terms of comfortability, cleanliness and facilities. It is also a new hotel with great design. The location is fair, about 700 meters to the nearest BTS Chong Nonsi (approximately 10 minutes walk). However, the heat of the day in Bangkok makes it feel like miles away from the sky train, let alone the busy traffic all the time of the day.   My boyfriend and I are travellers so we try to pick the cheap places to stay. This one, however, offered a lot more than the other similar priced hotels and was dead in the centre of Sukhumvit. (We did get a special promotion price).
