Nice pool area, and a nice bar/restaurant with a smoking area/terrace outside. The staff were very friendly. I've stayed in several hotels in Bangkok, and the Adelphi is the best of the lot.

  Great hotel in the old part of Bangkok, very close to some main attractions as, E.G. Reclining Buddha, Gran palace. Right on the river and so great for travel around the city. Staff could not more helpful, even to walking us to river ferry to make sure we caught the right one at the local not tourist) rate. The staff was most welcoming, friendly and helpful. This hotel is on the river and very close to Wat Pho, Wat Arum and the Royal Palace. It has nearby restaurants that serve delicious food at reasonable prices. This hotel's location is ideal for a tourist. It is very new and clean and comfortable and the staff is extremely helpful. We even took a canal cruise while waiting for our departure flight. We highly recommend it
