Great design hotel with such friendly and helpful staff (especially the bar that share shots with you when you arrive at closing time!). Felt both sleek and intimate which is hard balance to get right. Having visited Zurich before and only ever stayed in the centre it was great to get to know the 4th. A very nice, modern and comfortable hotel in the quartel, where ordinary people are living, away from the tourist zones. Some restaurants (italian, chinese...) within the walking distance, also a nice hammam open till 11 p.m. Good public communication, even if you have to walk a little bit, by bus to the main railway station, by tram to the centre and by s-bahn to the airport. Very modern design of the rooms, quiet location (the back building) and the tree forest from the back.

No reception but key is easy to collect from the box on the wall. The
room is soooooo big for the price if you just visited tourism place like
Venice.... It is clean and safe,modern decoration, a balcony with table
and chairs. Close to the tram station which takes about less than 15
minutes travel to train station. I even forgot to take the key with me
while going out for a walk, after calling reception the kind lady
patiently instruct me the way to get in. Would come back again.

This apartment is not too far from the main station, just take bus 31 only 10 mins. The room is very spacious and clean; living room, bedroom and big kitchen which was really impressed us. We could buy some foods from supermarket and cook our desirable dishes. It's cheap compares to eating outside due to very high cost of living in Switzerland. We

It was a spacious appartment.
Families with vhildren would enjoy the clean and comfortable environment in and outside the appartment. The closest shop was atleast 600 metres away but a bus stop was just outside the building.

valuable price considering it is in Switzerland. It has a public kitchen in each floor (actually only 3 rooms per floor). Fortunately the other 2 room guests don't use the kitchen, so the kitchen turn to be ours. about 7-8 mins to walk to the bus station, not an easy work for the first trial to catch the bus to the city center, but much easier aft

Our stay at Guesthouse Weststrasse was fine. We had no problems finding
it nor checking in. The key code was emailed prior to arriving and it
worked fine for accessing the key from the key box. It was in a good
location, close enough to town to walk, we walked everywhere, it was
easy. Its also close to the tram line too. Room again was fine, nothing
flashy but it was clean.

Wonderful hotel, i missed these type oh hotels in zurich, modern and luxurious hotel. Staff is so friendly especially kevin at the reception, the best. Very clean, neat, organized ...i dont know, i liked everything. Again and again in this hotel. -

location was great, away from the busy city of Zurich but only 10 min away from city by tram. Many shops and restaurants nearby. Apartment fully furnished and very comfortable, feel like home. The owner Named Suzan was very helpful and friendly. Great place to stay. -

It was a very pleasant surprise to find out that this economical place was so nice! People there are very very welcoming, people that stay and those who use the bar/restaurant downstairs were really friendly. A safe, central, clean, economical and with a good vibe! Highly recommended if you don't want to spend lots.

What i loved was the amazing breakfast which awaited me in the morning.
I also liked the fact that our host sat down with us to open up and explain us things about the city.
Finally, i LOVED the neighborhood, as its one of the only ones in zurich which i think still has character and at the same time is affordable. Good for travellers with a smaller budget who want to be in a vibrant neighborhood with bars, restaurants, and nice old school architecture
