  We used the Ibis Messe as our overnight spot before flying out of Zurcih the next morning. It was a perfect spot. The shuttle was easy to spot at the airport, the driver courteous. Can't say enough good things about the friendly, sociable staff. The rooms were compact, but bright and clean, perfect for our needs. Do note that the hotel is located i - Excellent service.  Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel clean.  Breakfast buffet superb.  Location may appear to be remote and in an industrial area, but during our stay we did not notice that, using the exceptional public transport links to travel into central Zurich was very easy. The frequent bus 781 from stop Riedbach outside the hotel takes about 6 minutes to Oerlikon Bahbhof. Which is then just 6 minutes to Zurich HB by the many, even more frequent trains.   The place was clean and quiet. The furnishings were spare, but serviceable. The staff at checkin was good. The area was a 'hip' part of town - near some good restaurants that were not too expensive.   THE STAFF - They were all very courteous and competent. The room was simple and clean, with a typical tiny bathroom squeezed into it for modern times.   Friendly competent young staff. Spotless room with soundproof windows ensuring a sound sleep. Lively location with plenty of people watching opportunities. Close to supermarket, cafes and 24 hr deli. 12 o clock check out was great and they let us check in early to our room as we had requested. - Friendly staff, very helpful.We found there was a ... ce que les gens disent » lot of noise coming from the street at night, but this is not the fault of the hotel, I simply did not research the district enough before hand.
