Clean hotel, great location, good rates, nice friendly staff
Breakfast could improve with not much greater effort. Whole grain bread, boiled eggs, yogurt and fresh fruit would not be too costly and would provide a decent breakfast
The staff and Location are perfect. the hotel is located 2 minutes walk from the Central Cornavin station and less than 10 minutes away from Geneva lake. The staff are extremely helpful and they always try to assist in any possible way.

Price for a room; even price for internet was much lower than elsewhere. While the room was not chic, all was clean. No noise interfering sleep in spite of busy street next door (I got a room with windows to inner yard).

The location of the hotel is excellent. It's near all touristic spots on foot and is near the public transportation services (tram, bus, metro, train).

You may consider improving on the breakfast by adding eggs may be bacon etc.

Friendly staff, good location handy to all public transport. Clean comfortable room, small but serviceable bathroom.
Rooms at the front of the hotel are very noisy if the window is open to get cool air on a warm to hot day - not a problem in cold weather as the heating is good and the insulated windows block out the noise.

The lift is quite small if you have a group more than 3 adults with luggage.
The location, so close-by the main Geneva train station, was definitely an asset for arriving/departing from the airport. The room was spacious and comfortable, with huge windows letting in a lot of light. Staff was courteous and helpful. Would stay here again.

We have been offered the level two room, it's very noisy and hard to sleep over night.
The location and price. We were there during mid 30s heat and there was no aircon or fan. Street noise unbearable if you opened the window. Cut price parking at the station good. Rooms adequate.

The hotel was much more than I was expecting. The beds were great and the room was quaint. Compared to the rest of the hotels nearby which cost three times as much, this was a great value!
The breakfast left a little to be desired. But it had everything that most European hotels have for breakfast. Not sure it was worth 10 franks though.
The location is very central. Close to the lake, so with just a few steps, you can have a fantastic view of the lake. Price is a value for money (considering how Switzerland is very expensive) because the room is very comfortable to stay in. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Do ask them for a city bus pass cause that helped us a lot!

I stayed here because the other hotels were outrageously expensive during the week in Geneva and there were 2 UN conferences so much was booked out. It turned out to be fine. I booked a double room, as that was all that was available, and thus had actually a corner room with 3 windows and plenty of space. The hotel is plain and functional. It was ok as I was there for 2 nights on business and just needed a bed and a clean place to stay. The location near the train station is excellent so easy access to the UN and the airport. For tourists it also convenient, with a short walk to the other side of the lake. Reception staff were very friendly. My advice to tourists to Geneva: Go Friday to Sunday nights as the hotels are considerably cheaper and you can get a nicer hotel for the same price.

We enjoyed the stay in Hotel Lido. It is just beside the main station and very much comfortable. Value for the money.
I found the room fine for our purposes as it was just for an overnight stay in Geneva. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff were helpful and the breakfast had a nice variety.
Some minor touches could have made a difference like cupboards with missing handles should have the handles replaced and glasses rather than plastic cups in the bathroom. Yoghurt at breakfast would have also been good.

The hotel was nice, centrally located, clean and with quick access to everything, just 5min from the lake and shopping/old town district and main train station.
The price was too high for what it is, although it was still one of the cheapest in Geneva.

Locationwas suitable and the staff were helpful.
Spartan small bathroom. Breakfast room too cramped to accomodate all guests. No towels in room on my arrival. Towels did not arrive until 10.00pm.

The hotel is very close to the railway station...just a 2 min walk. The break fast was simple but good. The room was clean and enough for a couple with young kids.
There is no AC and in summers the windows need to kept open for some ventilation...and this makes the room quite noisy. There was a constant chatter below the room..on the stree..which was irritating.
All reception staff a delight. So friendly, happy and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.
Bed and pillow to soft. Noisy inside (alot of banging doors). And very nosiy outside. However with window shut the majority of noise was removed, but would be very hot in room during hot weather.
Location is very good. Reception is very helpful and friendly.
Restroom has some broken things. Difficult to adjust the shower temperature, very flucuate between too hot and too cold shower.
