La taille des chambres et la qualité des équipements neufs, sobres et fonctionnels. The staff did go above what they tell they'd offer: i.e. checking me in outside of their opening hours because they were there "anyway" and I could leave my luggage with them because the room wasn't ready (I was before check-in time) and because I would return so late, they brought it up to my room. I definitely did not expect this from a "budget hotel"!

This is a very clean and comfortable hotel with spacious rooms. It is about 20 minutes tram ride to Basel. For my liking the hotel bar could do with not closing at midnight. There is a good free Tea/Coffee making machine in the hotel lobby. I believe that this is a good hotel to stay at for both business and leisure, we would stay here again.

I had my passport nicked while at a bathhouse. The staff at the reception were very helpful and put up well with a panicked traveler.
The babbling brook right outside is a very nice touch.
Breakfast is good. Nice bread, nice cheeses, yogurt, cereals, coffee is gratis in the morning.
Overall, it's a very nice hostel though only a hostel which are generally only as good as the guests who are present.
