Although they are doing heavy construction on the place, they managed to provide us with a very comfortable stay. The rooms are so clean and well-decorated. The location is very convenient. If you want to go surfing, it is only a twenty minute tuk tuk ride. If you want to enjoy Galle, it is only a ten minute tuk tuk ride.

I loved the room and bathroom space and décor. But the room I was in, which was superior is going to be upgraded to luxury I was told at the reception. Sad. -
we had an excellent stay. They upgraded our room for a deluxe room when we told them we were newly wedded. Staff is welcoming. Room with jacuzzi is perfect.

We immediately felt at home there. All of the staff were very friendly, especially Nuwani who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. The location was perfect and the hotel itself had the most fantastic atmosphere. It was a home from home.

The Nooit Gedacht Resort is an Island of peace and relaxation. It is run on an ecological and sustainable basis. Therefore you will not find any TV or radio in the room and alcohol is not offered, but AC is providet.

It is a pleasure to watch the girls picking the flowers in the morning which you will find on your bed in the evening.
On the other hand it is -
We stayed at Nooit Gedacht for 3 nights during the low season and got 5 star treatment. The place was kept at the highest standards, despite us being the only guests at the time. Pools, gardens (with lots of widlife), food and of course the ayurveda treatments, it was all perfect. The location is also great - just a few minutes walk from Unawatuna beach, but enough to have some peace - and there is a pleasant walk over the hill to a little village and a quiet little bay called Jungle Beach. Sumith, his wife and all the stuff are incrediblly helpful, they make

Beautiful inside and out, Ridee Villa has to be the best place to stay
in Unawatuna. While on a busy road, you are unaware of it once you walk
through the heavy wooden gates into its attractive courtyard garden. On
entering the villa, you are immediately welcomed by the owner, Sumith,
whose courtesy, helpfulness and desire to please along that of his staff
continues throughout your stay. A wonderful find and will certainly
return when next in Sri Lanka
