  Great friendly staff who couldn't do enough for us. They ran around to a different hotel to make sure we had copies of our passports for the Tomatina and did loads of extra stuff (like getting us a corkscrew) that they really didn't have to do.   The hotel was in a great location for us as we were meeting some people from a cruise ship who had docked there. Also, it was then easy to get into the centre by public transport. We were also, near the beach area were there was plenty of bars and restaurants to finish the day off. The room was very clean and nice, with toilet and bathroom (separate), although they looked like being added as you had to climb up a step to got to the bathroom, but it was not a problem.   I ist just an amazing place :) You live in a side street (so it's pretty calm compared to the general noise in Valencia) and you are close to everytning. All what we needed was in walking distance. They rent also bicycles (we got 10% discount). We cycled to the beach and to the Albufera reserve (It was really worth the effort).   It was a bit of a mission to locate El Rincon as most lanes are one-way and the nearby neighbourhood was a bit seedy. But don’t let the outside appearance fool as once inside with the car safely parked free in a large garage on site the impression changed. We had a recently renovated third floor room with ensuite. Excellent value for mone - El Rincon was well-located near to centre city, restaurants and coffee shops, touristy stalls and a really good local fresh food market and city tourist attractions. We were lucky enough to happen across a small religious parade of an icon through the streets. We were able to walk from the train to the hostal which is located in the old town.
