Warm greeting by the lovely lady in the store below (sorry didn't catch her name with our nonexistent Spanish!) and comfy couch. Very spacious apartment, well equipped. Location central to nearby shops and beach.

The cosy apartment we had for 2 people had a terrace with a beautiful
view of the mountains and facing south, so we could fully enjoy the
October sunshine. Even though we were worried about the main road being
just behind the apartment, the noise was not disturbing at all and we
did not hear a sound at night. We could park the car right next door

enjoy the quietness and authenticity of the little village (compared to
the touristic neighbour village Pampeneira). The apartment is only a few
m -
we were made very welcome by the kind lady on reception. the apartment was spacious and the views are stunning. the pool is also exceptional. The breakfast was included in our deal and was the best we had on our trip to Spain. would highly recommend this hotel.

It´s a purpose built hostel, not a converted apartment building. The
rooms are very spacious. The staff was exceedingly helpful and very nice
(I can speak spanish, so I can't vouch for their foreign language
skills). There was a small leak on the toilet flush (it can happen in
the best places) when we arrived at about 2100, but the receptionist

Superb location and very spacious room. Felt newly decorated and the
word 'clean' simply can't describe the sparkling perfection
of the rooms and common areas. The photos simply don't do justice to
the hotel/hostal - common areas are beautiful and the building
reminded us of a Moroccan riad.

Very clean and very quiet. Close to everything. Very well priced and parking is 12 euro but worth it as Granada is hard to find something on street. The palace close by is amazing BUT unfortunetly we couldnt get in, we started queing at 8am to get a ticket and by 9.30 they had sold out for the day,,,get one the day before and don,t be dissapointed

Great location. You can easily walk to all places, even to Alhambra.
The hostal is situated in a very nice and clean building.
There is a parking slot in the same building, for a reasonable price (12 euros per day).

We enjoyed our stay very much. A beautiful vista of the Alhambra from the roof-top terrace (don't expect to have a good view from your window). We could also recommend the restaurant run by the family at 10 minutes walking distance.

Large room with excellent bathroom. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Perfect location for access to the pistes and all other resort facilities. The only hotel I will need for future trips to Sierra Nevada ! -

nous avons apprécié que l'hotel réponde à notre demande spécifique que nous avions écrite dans notre mail de réservation, nous désirions une chambre avec vue sur la place et ce fut exaucé , à notre arrivée nous avions cette belle chambre avec vue sur la place ! le jeune homme à l'acceuil était très acceuillant et très sympatique, le petit déjeuner

2. Very clean, modern and spacious apartment (including a tiny balcony! ) - a suite. Plenty of space for luggage. Kitchennete, coffee maker with capsules and utensils came in really handy. No breakfast provided but that didn't bother us at all a -
We arrived thinking we had booked a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apt. The apts have only 1 bath, so we inquired about getting another apt. Ivonna made a few calls and the manager allowed us to rent another 2 bedroom and reduce the rate on the booked apt (they charge per person in most Spainish properties) so that for 2 apartments (2bed/1bath) the total came to 20 euros less for our stay!!!!
The apts were immaculate! Large bathrooms and bedrooms. Firms twin beds. Comfortable sheets and blankets. Ivonna

Very friendly staff, made us feel welcome right from the start. Perfectly good room with sea view. Bit of a hike to the town, but we like that. And if you need to take your car, parking in Almunecar (very interesting non touristy town) is free (apart from the underground multi storeys) until July.
