Value for money. It is a student house which works as the hotel over the summer, so as expected the room was basic, but it had everything I need like private kitchen and bathroom. So yes it is basic but cheap, clean and in good conditions and only 15 minutes walking to the beach. -

I liked the fact that for a such a noisy place i was able to sleep an wasn't sleep deprived,i had a concern about them not having a safety deposit box in the room with the reputation BCN has for pickpockets, scammers etc but it turned out ok nothing happened. -

The staff are extremely friendly, always smiling and willing to help, the rooms were cleaned every day, they made us feel very welcome and clearly made an effort for us to be comfortable. Maybe it sounds too flattering, but that is what I experienced with Angel (Billie). The staff received an award for their friendly and helpful attitude, and they deserved it. And the free dinner. Very close to the beach, easy reachable by suburban bus and train from Barcelona, quite spacy room...and one of the most important things in summer destinations; there's fridge in the room. -

A fantastic place - very clean and very comfortable. Rooms have kitchenettes with all the basic utensils, a cooker and a fridge, which is very convenient. Plentiful tasty breakfast and fantastic coffee (!). Cable Internet connection in rooms. The area is very quiet with a lovely park nearby. I recommend the place to everyone and would like to come back.

Everything at this hostel is perfect. It really is like a home and feels like a boutique hotel, except that you're just staying in dorms. Beautiful dorms at that. The staff and owner are lovely and so helpful. It is in one of the best locations in Barcelona in a beautiful tree-lined, semi-pedestrian street so it is relatively quiet and very tranquil. It is such good value for money.

Amazing atmosphere, the staff were exceptional and really made me feel at home. Rooms and facilities were clean and new. Free dinner was a fabulous and great way to meet people. Location couldn't be better. Definitely I will come back! -
