  We were there in the off season and virtually had the hotel to ourselves! We felt completely welcome and at home from the moment we arrived until our departure. Our room was beautiful and comfortable, all the staff were attentive and very helpful. Our foods were reflective of the region and skillfully prepared - we enjoyed every bite!   We stayed here to and from the ferry at Santander. The hotel was easy to find and although right next to the motorway we could not hear the traffic from our room. The room was large, clean and comfy bed. Cafe food was good. Restaurant was excellent meal of the day well cooked and excellent value for money. All staff very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend - room well equipped, at a very good price close to motorway as we were enroute to Santander but far enough away from road not to suffer from any noise.   Very nice hotel. Lovely rooms. It is situated in a pedestrian square in the old town. There is parking underground but it is not convenient to the hotel for transferring your luggage. We then had a wonderful dinner cooked by his mother, then spent further time in the bar socialising with his father and locals.
