Rooms are really lovely. The only comment I would make is that the location wouldn't be suited to those less able to walk due the rustic nature of paths. Fantastic food. Will go back again without doubt.

  Cet hôtel est excellent. Les chambres et salles de bains sont immenses, très confortables et avec une décoration de très bon goût (gravures anciennes). Le calme est absolu.   Just got back and everything about this place is as good as earlier reviews say it is. I was tempted not to add comments so I could keep this gem to myself. We were staying B/B so cannot comment on the evening meal but the breakfast was excellent, with choice galore & as much (or little) as you wish from fresh fruit, cooked and continental br... ce que les gens disent » eakfasts, omelettes etc. The hotel staff & their service is great throughout from the front desk, bar-staff to the nice ladies who clean the rooms - The staff are excellent: professional and competent whilst also friendly and good humoured. The Hotel Illa d'Or has a magnificent setting, with wonderful views both of sea and mountains; and located in a quiet spot towards the end of the Pine Walk, which makes a lovely short promenade to the centre. The room is of a decent size event for a 15 nights stay. Good a/c in the room. Very friendly staff, always smiling and eager to help. Nice pool area with great cocktails at the bar. It was clean , well ran , friendly and one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The food was excellent and plenty of variety. The rooms were cleaned daily. Clean towels when needed. The hotel was not in a noisy location which was nice late evening if you want to enjoy an early night .

  Very modern hotel with large rooms and spacey balconies. Absolutely quiet location close to the beaches (150m). Very nice pool area with plenty of sunbeds. Indoor pool and gym also available, but we did not use it. Very good choices at breakfast and also for dinner. At the time of our stay (end of April) the price- quality r - All the staff has been amazingly pleasant and making you feel welcome. The hotel is very well equipped and modern, as are the rooms.
