  This is my fourth time going back to the sandy beach hotel. I think it is a great hotel and will deffinetly be back. The games and entertainment for kids is great. - 1. Most friendly, cheerful and helpful staff. 2. Excellent choice of good quality food at buffet dinners and breakfasts.

  Very Nice clean hotel with friendly and effecient staff. Example:The fridge was noicy, and 15 minutes after mentioning it to the receptionist, it was changed. Not possible to reserve sunbeds made it possible for "normal people" to choose location. Very good restaurant, splendid breakfast buffet.   Hotel has perfect location, very close to the beach. Rooms are very cosy, personal is incredibly friendly. We were staying with 8 month old baby and we were provided with baby bed, high chair. There were washing and drying machine available on the premises, which made our life much easier.   full kitchen, lovely balcony to good swimming pool, very clean, staff was friendly. great location 7min walk to the beach, very central close to everything and Yumbo is 5min away. - Cheap and cheerful. Very close to the yumbo and Monika was lovely. My flight wasn't til late and she let me keep my room all day.

  I'd often walked past this hotel on previous visits to Playa and loved the look of the pool but wasn't so sure about the actual accommodation. How pleasantly surprised I was. This place is a little bit of a gem, the rooms are quite dated with decor from the 70's but it works.... The pool area is amazing, massive pool with a bar in the middle. The snacks here were great and a fan - The staff was excellent! Both the people working at the reception, and those in the hotels restaurant. Delicious fish food was served for dinner at the buffet dinner several evenings when I stayed there. Also a big honour to the cleaners! I'll be back...

  Apart from the hotel which we LOVED, we liked the friendly locals. We rented bikes and cycled around and we were amazed by how nice all drivers were. Also when walking. Very good food in all restaurants we tried.   The hotel is great, it is basically across the road to the Yumbo Shopping and Entertainment Centre (less than a 2 minute walk) and about a 10 minute walk down the hill to the beach restaurants (Annex 1).
