The staff is friendly and ready to help , the location is perfect ,very close to the famous street La Rambla . The neighborhood ,although it may seems a bit unsafe ,actually is very lively , a blend of different peoples ,different bars and shops and if you have time to explore it you may find it interesting.If you are looking for a very basic place, this hostel is a good value for money.

The hotel it is in walking distance off all the turistic attractions of Barcelona.
I consider this aspect as the best feature of this hotel.
The room was very clean, we had private bathroom and a balcony.
On all the streets surrounding the hotel there are restaurants, bars and shops.
The metro stop is at only 2 min walking distance.
After chek-out they permitted us to use their luggage storage room for the entire day.
Wi-Fi connection in the room was great.

I am quite familiar with BCN and have been there a number of times. Renting hostels,hotels and apartments.
LOCATION
You are in center of the city. But in quite one.
HOUSE
Very typical historical building.
FACILITIES.
Entry, a numbers of clean WC, very good equipped kitchen and really huge terrace.
Kitchen has owen and all staff you may need.
Wi-Fi is good and 2 additional (free to use) PC with internet is very essential for more comfort work.

This is a family-owned place that is very well maintained and has a congenial staff and atmosphere. For protracted stays the rooms are better suited for single occupancy where space allows a comfortable chair. But for short stays the twin (there are no doubles) occupancy is perfectly adequate. Location is great, just off the Ramblas between Liceu Opera House and the Boqueria Market with a metro stop (line 3) 1 minutes walk from the front door. Close to the Gothic Quarter, lots of eating places and shops. A great bakery a couple of doors down.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Simple room (single bed with shower) but clean and quiet. Room facilities including a hair dryer and air con/heating unit which worked. Computer in common room with free wi-fi.
Would stay here again.
