  The room was small (perfect for a young couple) but everything seemed new and very clean. We had a small balcony off our room which was lovely and let lots of sunlight in. I was impressed by the quality for how much we paid. Great location for tourist attractions and just for wandering.   We recently stayed here for a last minute night in Barcelona due to French airstrikes sending us via spain. Clearly we wanted something central close to some nightlife and most of all cheap! This hostel is a gem it was spotless and really modern. I will return or recommend to anyone value fo - Lovely architecture, marble winding staircase and old wooden doors, clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff. TV on the wall. Lots of information available about Barcelona. Shared bathroom wasn't such an issue for a short stay (1 night).

  The location was the best I ever had in Bcn. At least half of points of interest is reachable by feet. Just 200 m or less to the station of A1 and A2 buses to airport. But you also can have a cold snacks with hot and FREE tea, coffee or cacao at the so called living room of the "Goy - Our stay at Hostel Goya and as such in Barcelona was wonderful experience. Hostel staffs were helpful, warm and welcoming. When we arrived at the hostel Ms.Path explained in details where to go, what to see and what to eat. We followed her recommendations and our Barcelona vacation was a memorable experience that we would cherish this life time. The premise and the room were kept spick and span condition. Thanks a lot for your hospitality.

  I'm not sure why they call this a hostel? I felt like it was more an inn. The attention to details were very nice. Greeted with a glass of Sangria upon arrival. Chocolate on your night stand. The owner is an antiques collector. Hence the name. Be in mind, it is filled with them!! It can be a bit overwhelming at first. You get used it. Happily I can only agree & add to the positive vibe - it was a perfect little room (little is true but it was ample), brilliant location, amazing breakfast and fantastic staff, Danny in particular living up to his online reputation. Our trip would not have been as blessed without his knowledge & help. Highly recommended

It's within walking distance from Catalunya square (where a bus runs from the airport every 10-20 minutes for only about 6 euro a person) and the staff are beyond excellent. The staff went out of their way to help us find information on connecting with our cruise. - The hotel appears to be residential apartments that have just been renovated to a very high grade 'Art Deco' standard. The room was large with a very high ceiling and nicely appointed and the bathroom good and brightly tiled. Our room had large old doors that opened to a balcony on the street....very nice. The staff were exceptionally helpful with suggestions about sightseeing and restaurants , and helped greatly in receiving/printing and sending some unexpected business e-mails for me. Brea

  Terrific location for first visit to Barcelona - walked everywhere. Excellent building with elevator. Kitchen open all day for easy access to refrig, coffee, etc. - I loved the fact that the breakfast was laid out in a kitchen that was open to all guests all day. It made it feel as though you were staying in a home.

It seemed to me he didn't speak too much Spanish (yes I know...) but we where able to understand each other eventually.
