This is the second time we have stayed at Pension La Salve and we will stay again every year before boarding the ferry for our annual trip back to England. We stayed here for one night and found the staff fabulous. We were emailed once we booked to confirm they had the baby travel cot we needed. They also offered us a baby bath. While there they even shared a couple of toys with our daughter which she loved. The room was comfortable and the washrooms were clean. It was an easy walk to the Guggenheim

I will return to Bilbao and will definitely stay in Pension Zubia, a
budget friendly lodging -Excellent excellent excellent accomodation-
clean, ideal location ,warm friendly service. Breakfast is not served
but there is lovely coffee served directly opposite building .No wonder
it has got such good reviews.Thank you

Clean & cosy place to stay in with friendly and helpful staff. Good location easily accessible from Abando Station, El Corte Ingles Supermkt is just across the roundabout. It is also near the old town, just a river-across, with many authentic eateries to choose from...once fimiliar with the place, walking to Guggenheim will only take abt 10 to 15 mins

Really lovely apartment run by wonderful staff who were very accommodating and gracious to us after a misunderstanding with payment. The owner even offered us umbrellas due to the rainy weather! Apartment is spacious, super clean and right in the heart of Old Town. It's also very close to the metro making it easily accessible by foot and public transport. I would definitely recommend Arriaga Suites!

Location couldn't have been better, right in the old town. Staff were lovely, though English isn't really spoken they will do their best to communicate. Room was really nice. Breakfast isnt' fancy but it is adequate (Tea, coffee, toast, ceral and pastry) Entry is via buzzer only and you need to leave room key in reception when you leave.

First we were surprised that it was not a separate building, it is only one floor in a big building and the owners are living there. The room was small, but there was a bathroom inside, and was nicely furnished and clean! There were also shampoos and gel which was a nice surprise. Unfortunately we didn’t receive a room with balcony to the square,

Beautiful bars and rest -
We were on the Camino del Norte and Bilbao was our last stop on this segment . this pension is ideally located beside the Cathedral on the Old City and on the route forward. We intend to stay here again when we resume the Camino next year. The shopping districts and indeed the Guggenheim were only a short walk away (say 15 minutes to 25 minutes) while there was plenty of restaurants etc in the Old City. A very helpful and obliging host in this Pension.
