Value for money. It is a student house which works as the hotel over the summer, so as expected the room was basic, but it had everything I need like private kitchen and bathroom. So yes it is basic but cheap, clean and in good conditions and only 15 minutes walking to the beach. -

Staff is excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Speaks very good English. The lockers are in the room. And the very good thing that the bathrooms are in the rooms. The location is right at la ramblas, just 2 minutes away.

The staff are extremely friendly, always smiling and willing to help, the rooms were cleaned every day, they made us feel very welcome and clearly made an effort for us to be comfortable. This hotel is situated near by the Rambles (view minutes walking, and its metro station) and the end station of the airport buss (10 minutes walking). Hotel is clean and well maintained, breakfast simple but good for this price. Reception staff is friendly and supportive. Hotel is central to the most tourist highlights in the city. Suggestion, take a guided tour (or tapas tour), through the city by bike, interesting to get more details about this town.

Very friendly staff. Clean sheets for bed. It's also useful to have access to the kitchen, where we could cook our own food.
As it's a small hostel, many of the guests get to talk to each other at the reception so the atmosphere is very positive.

Quite clean, excellent location, good internet connection, in comfort

But the main advantage is that it's really warm in the hostel (I
stayed in several hostels in Spain in winter and it's usually
unbearably cold inside, specially during the daytime)!

I am pleased to tell that our family were very happy for the stay. The hotel stuff was reasonable friendly, but it was enough, all our questions were answered. The place is just great, you could easily reach Sagrada Familia or la Rambla by foot. The kitchen was clean an cauzy.

Definitely the location + the kindness of the lady who was taking care of the space. She is so friendly and so helpful. You kind of feel yourself sharing home with 'old friends' and not really in a hostel. I only stayed over for a night but it was enough to feel the spirit of the place.
Another point I gotta mention here is the view from the balco
