I can strongly recommend this place to people who look for something cozy, stylish, not typical. You feel more like at home, not like in a hotel. There is a common space for the guests where you can sit around big table, drink high quality coffee (free of charge) and relax.

I got a single room with private toilet and bathroom. The staff knew English a little, but they are very kind and helpful. They tried the best to answer my questions. The room was clean and comfortable, and it was really better than what I expected from a hostel.

Hostel fontanela is great-location is few minutes from city center and

Propreté, proximité des transports et des sites touristiques, quartier très agréable, appartement très fonctionnel - L'appartement est bien situé, dans un quartier populaire ou l'on trouve de nombreux magasins et superettes ouvertes tard. Staff were friendly and spoke English fluently. The room and facilities were very clean. We didn't think the room was small at all - we could fit both our large suitcases in without any troubles. The location of Hostal Boutique Khronos was excellent, 10 mins walk from the main square where buses to and from airport were situated. Bus Turistic city tour buses also leave from here. We were also only 15 mins walk from The Ramblas, the main tourist shopping street. Khronos was basic but very clean & the staff were very friendly & helpful. The bed was quite hard, but this seems to be the case in many Spanish hotels. there was also a great terrace where free tea was served. Right next

I liked the fact that for a such a noisy place i was able to sleep an wasn't sleep deprived,i had a concern about them not having a safety deposit box in the room with the reputation BCN has for pickpockets, scammers etc but it turned out ok nothing happened. -

Had a great stay at these apartments, reasonably basic inside but
everything you need for a comfortable break. The location was good,
roughly a 15-20min walk to the Las Ramblas, 5 mins away from the
underground and a few mins away from one of the stops on the blue bus
tour route. If you want to eat out try Morryssom which is a small tapas
bar only

restaurants and grocery shops around. Good equipped kitchen, clean. Not

in went really smooth. We stayed in apt 1a, first floor, 2 bed
apartment, Very comfortable for two adults (double bed) and two kids (2
single beds), if more people staying in, there was a sofa bed also...

A shared kitchen allowed cooking own meals, staff spoke perfect english and was very helpful - they even made some calls to solve a problem that happened to us while visiting another hotel. Our room was quite small but clean, functional and nice. -

I would like to stress out how Tina and Jose have been nice, helpful and
welcoming. If you want luxury and 5 stars hotel feeling: well: book one
and pay the price for it but do not moan about this little B&B that
is clean enough, convenient enough, run by nice people and cheap!!!

Hosts were lovely! Tina was very helpful. Provided us straight away with bus information a map and suggestions for places to visit. Room was big with a table and fridge. Breakfast was self serve with plenty to choose from. Excellent location for Gaudi tours and Guell Park. Everything we did was in walking distance. Easy to get train to airport from this spot too. Tina also provided a cheap laundry service which made things so easy! Beds were firm which was fine for us but may bother others.
