Location superb - pedestrianised shopping strip right outside your door. Very safe area. Extremely helpful staff-thanks Mary and George for a great and comfortable stay. There were 2 head boards, which showed that the 3rd bed was just makeshift.

This is rather a 3 star hotel not just a hostel - the rooms are small but are really cosy and comfortable; the furniture is new and there is enough place to put all your the baggage; it was extremely clean (we had our room cleaned every day); there`s free wi-fi which is fast; the personal speaks English which is quite an advantage in Spain; location - perfect - 2 mins to Gran Via and not more than 20 mins to Puerta del Sol and at the same time it was not noisy at all.

The location is superb (if a little hard to find down a side street). Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to do everything to make our stay perfect. Was concerned a "hostal" might not be up to scratch but it was like any other 3 star accommodation. Room was large with fairly new ensuite and very comfy beds. There was nothing we didn't like and would definitely stay again.
