Stopped here the night before I started the Camino to Santiago. Great overnight stop. Good clean bedroom with very comfortable twin beds, great well equipped bathroom. Short walk to restaurants and bars. Bus station only a ten minute walk away. Reception staff didn't speak English but as I don't speak Spanish that seems fair and they were very hel

Reasonable price, nice staff, very clean room with free wifi.
I'll definitely use the same hostal when I get to Ponferrada again.

Very nice hotel. Lovely rooms. It is situated in a pedestrian square in the old town. There is parking underground but it is not convenient to the hotel for transferring your luggage. Having a motorbike we were able to drive to the hotel door and unload and then park. -

I restarted the Camino de Santiago in Ponferrada. I stayed at this hotel on the night before the walk. Needed a good sleep .Had a meal at the hotel which was tasty and prepared me for the camino.

Although it is a fairly new hotel, it has a feeling of the history of Ponferrada. The interior architecture and decor (e.g., huge old chests, reminders of the Templars, choice of colours and wall finishes) are excellent. - Ambiance was nice for the location theme - Medieval/Templar Spain. Restaurant/breakfast good

The people who operate this hotel are fantastic and super sweet. Even though my Spanish was not very good, they were great at getting me what I wanted. The breakfast is the best on the Camino so far. -
Good location to visit the city, especially Templar Castle and surrounding attractions such as Las Medulas. Good restaurant. Easy free (or paid)

The hotel was central to bars in the "new" part of Ponferrada and was just a short walk to the castle and old part of the city. The room was immaculate and very comfortable and the bathroom was beautiful. -
