This hostal is a converted apartment covering the first floor of the building.It has managed to retain many of the original features and character. The rooms at the front have balconies looking out onto the Ramblas Cataluyna. It is within walking distance of La Rambla and very close to the metro and buses to all the other attractions.

The location is ideal for exploring the city on foot.It is next to The Passeig De Gracia and very close to Las Ramblas.Extremely friendly staff that helped us orginize our trip.Our room (Nr 8) was spacious,clean,comfortable and very quiet.There are many options around the hostal for eating,shopping and many more.There was hot water and very strong wifi signal all the time.It was generally very well organized with door codes and everything needed provided before we had even arrived!

The hotel was in a great location! Right near the Rablas and metro. Thehotel was very comfortable and clean. We would definitely stay thereagain. Pensio 2000 was a real find. Help yourself tea/coffee/cakes and water, all gratis. Even had lovely white dressing gowns provided. An international crossroad location with great mix of people too! Location of the hotel is excellent. Close to a metro station and in the middle of Las Ramblas and El Borne. In winter, el borne is a better place to be close rather than since la rambla. The staff has made really nice improvements and facilities in the hotel, that's nice. But some of the stuff like towels and sheets are really too old.

within one metro stop from the Sants railway station. White foyer, bright-
green corridor, cosy rooms - each about one of the Barcelona places of
interest. Ours was called 'Parc Guel'. The window looks out on
the quiet yard. We arrived late, something after midnight. The stuff

It was only three minutes from the metro station and only 15 minutes from the old town for these persons who love walking and 10 minutes from Sagrada Famiglia. It was very clean, they clean the room every day and they change towels every time that you ask for it. Perfect wi-fi in the room and the staff is the most polite and helpful we 've ever met. They gave us a map of the town with the most popular monuments and they adviced us for everything that we asked. There is a lift. Very safe streets

The room was small (perfect for a young couple) but everything seemed new and very clean. We had a small balcony off our room which was lovely and let lots of sunlight in. I was impressed by the quality for how much we paid. Great location for tourist attractions and just for wandering. Convenient underground parking garages close by. -

I got a single room with private toilet and bathroom. The staff knew English a little, but they are very kind and helpful. They tried the best to answer my questions. The room was clean and comfortable, and it was really better than what I expected from a hostel.

Hostel fontanela is great-location is few minutes from city center and

We are received with warm welcome to this charming hostel with excellent staffs. Everywhere was really clean and well-organized. Staffs are always for us to help. In our room, we had even patio which enjoyed a lot sitting out. We expected more of the noise from the streets, but it was really quiet. Kitchen facility was also very nice and clean when we cooked one evening and prepared extra things during breakfast as well. Thank you so much for your hospitality. We will definitely come back!!!

This hotel is very well located a short walk to the old city and public
transport. The décor and fittings were all first class, very clean and
nice. The rooms were very quiet even with a view to the street. The
king bed was extremely comfortable and the tv had many English
channels. The manager was extremely helpful and keen to please. There
is no front desk nor is there a clear big sign identifying the entry,
you need to call the manager to gain entry. The car-park is in the next
