  The hotel was just as expected and being fairly new was in good shape. The staff were excellent, far better than some 4 to 5 star hotels we have stayed in. Ideal location for a concert we were going to nearby. The breakfast was also excellent value for money. - Close to the airport and a perfect stop-off.   Handy to Malaga but hard to find.....a lovely Spanish girl at a service station rescued us. Not a fan of Torremolinos but were on our way to Casares and late flight into Malaga.   The Balmoral was one of the best value hotels we have ever stayed in. It was clean and comfortable. We had a room with a lovely balcony and great sea,mountain and pool views. With the addition of tea and coffee making facilities, toiletries and ironing facilities this would be a 3 or indeed a4 star hotel.   As a single Mum I visited Los Amigos Beach Club with my 10 year old son for a week in April 2013. Fabulous place! Friendly staff, excellent facilities! We had a studio (6E) which was adequate for the the 2 of us and the apartment was kitted out with everything you'd have at home including the dishwasher! Would definitely return but next time a... ce que les gens disent » little later in the year when the pools are warmer! - The location was excellent, esp if you have a car, as can reach the mountains in 1 - 1 1/2 hrs, also only a short drive to Furmuglia? And shopping centre. All the staff were helpful, but I would especially like to commend Juanina on reception who was very informative and especially polite. Is currently being renovated, staff try to minimize any inconvenience. Great price and good standard.
