  Hotel is in a great location, just a 5 or so minute walk to the main centre & Lent area; the old part. Also less than 15 minutes over the bridge to Europark (big modern mall). Room was very well appointed & the air conditioning worked! Staff were very helpful & there were quite a few choices for a drink or coffee; inside or outside. Br... ce que les gens disent » eakfast is in massive room & lots of choices - all very good & staff kept replenishing it. - Located in a quiet area away from busy streets though only a 5 minute walk from the Bus and Train stations and the city centre. I've stayed here before and it was nice that I was in the computer system and the receptionist welcomed me back. - Good breakfast (we are vegan and there was a good choice of cereals, fruits and soy milk) The gentleman at the reception, Sac, (hope this is the correct way to write his name) helped a lot and beyond his duties acting as concierge. Thanks!

  This hotel is excellent (full stop). We entered not knowing what to expect but we were always impressed! Very clean room, very nice bathroom, excellent staff, amazing food from wood burning stove in connected restaurant, quiet yet connected. Great location to hit the ski slopes in the winter or explore the forests in the summer. 50 meters away! Every time we got full and satisfactory answers to all our questions. There's a nice restaurant right in the hotel where you can try delicious pizza which is really cheap.   We loved our stay at Apartments Bona-Bolfenk. The balcony looked over the gorgeous forest which at the time was ablaze with Autumn colours. The apartment was exceptionally clean and brand new.   This is a perfect hotel! The rooms are extremely comfortable and spacious, the breakfast is great and on top you also have free parking in the garage. But the best was the hotel staff. Especially "Helena" from the reception was outstanding, she really made us feel welcome and had an honest smile on her lips. We had a spacious, very comfortable room with a great view of the river. The location is excellent as a starting point for discovering Maribor - a nice and quiet city not so well known and crowded.
