We have just returned home from a week skiing in the resort of Vogel and
it was truly a marvelous holiday - thanks to the location and
accommodation at the Alpik Apartments in Ukanc. I passed through this
region once before in the summer time on a day trip to go white water
rafting on the River Soca but I was so blown away with the views of Lake

We spent a considerable amount of time searching for a suitable base close to the Vogel ski and snowboarding center. We were lucky to find Alpik apartments at a convenient location close to the center, and Lake Bohinj, both within 2-10 minutes from the apartment. Jaka is a very gracious host, who picked us up from the bus stop and helped us get around town. The location is peaceful and set in the natural beauty of the surrounding mountains. The family that runs this B&B were all extremely welcoming, accommodating, and friendly. Mrs. Jana drove us to the airport at 5:30 am for only 3 Euros. Everything. Starting from Jana that came to pick us up and take us back to the airport with a wonderful BMW. She was very nice, polite and willing to fulfill all our needs. The room was far more than expected, spacious enough, very clean and well-equipped. The location of the facility is also perfect: very close to the airport, but also immersed in the green nature that Slovenia offers. We had a great time during our stay and for sure we will be staying there each time we have to visit Slovenia

We stayed in Apartments Poldi for 2 nights, and were very much satisfied with our choice. The whole staff of Poldi was lovely and very helpful. The top apartment, in which we stayed, was pleasant and nicely furnished, and the kitchen well-equipped.

The apartment was just perfect...one of those that you would easily want to live in on a permanent basis. We stated fir 2 nights in these unserviced apartments. Our ground
floor apartment was spacious and modern. The kitchen was great with
full utensils to prepare a meal. There is no dishwasher in the
apartment. The lounge room was light and airy looking over the garden.
The terrace would have been nice to enjoy had the weather been warmer.
Bathroom had a good shower with plenty of hot water. The bed was very

I could not rate this place enough! We had the superior apartment and it was lovely :) it was huge and had a massive kitchen and I have never seen a kitchen so well equipped with pots and pans and plates etc.
The owner is lovely and gave us lots of maps and told us what to see and do.
Its about a 10 minute drive to lake bled which is beautiful and the town of Radovlijica itself is a 20 minute walk. There are supermarkets nearby and we made some good meals while here.

I put maximum points to this hotel - we really enjoyed everything staying there! A small side-trip from the main highway (we travelled by car) - and we found ourselves in absolutely amazing location. Everything is brand new, shining clean, the staff very friendly, good breakfast. Surroundings are spectaculous as well. Kids had fun watching animals

The service was excellent and the evening meals very good with the chef coming out to see us as we were eating to ask what we thought of the meal. The staff behind the reception were really helpful suggesting places for us to visit which were better than anything I had found in the numerous books I had bought on the area. And the bikes were free to use. We were able to expend lots of energy to make up for the enormous meals we ate in the evening.

La famille est vraiment accueillante. Les appartements sont très bien équipés, tout est neuf et très propre. Nos enfants ont joué avec les leurs, ils ont caressé des chatons et ramassé les oeufs. Un accueil exceptionnel (même si tardif) avec une liqueur fabriquée sur place. Un beau séjour qui nous a permis de goûter la Slovénie.
