  Guest-house Kachelman is furnished in rustic style, with older furniture. However bathrooms are modern :) There is free wifi and parking for guests. Breakfast was continental. Banska stiavnica is beautifull city with longterm mining history, so there are many places where to go. Public spaces spacious and clean. Food was good and varied and prices for extras were very competitive, unlike many hotels we did not feel robbed every time we had a drink or coffee. Overall, very good for the money. Would recommend to travelers although not for a luxury honeymoon. Good job people, well done, we had a good stay.

  Very friendly and willing staff, location in the very centre - all sights accessible within some minutes´walk,good value for the price, dogfriendly - all the staff spoke good english and got information for me when asked. i had booked for 2 nights and stayed for 4.

  Nice, cosy hotel, close to everything what you must see in Banska Stiavnica. Higlight was gentleman at the reception desk who was absolutely helpful and ready to make everyhthing what you wish.
