Right next to Chinatown with a Metro Station just opposite the hotel. Perfect place to stay if you want to get out and explore Singapore and take in the variety of sights and sounds. Some reviews will critise the hotel for not having any food options...i.e. breakfast included. But if you want to experience Singapore properly then get out of the hotel and enjoy the massive variety of food available on every street!

The hotel rooms are simple but very well-designed -
Although the room was small, it was compact and it had everything basic we needed. The bed was great to sleep on....soo comfortably soft with nice comforters. The bathroom size was sufficient and the tiles were nice. Water was sufficient in both toilet and bath...nothing eeky in them. Hotel staff are nice to talk to. We felt secured in this place; it was quiet. It is near the shops and the MRT station.

Location is the best, just 200 m from the prominent Chinatown MRT (can walk even with wheeled baggage- we had 4!), which is connected to every part of the city's sights by MRT/ bus. The hip Clark Quay is about a 5 min walk away.

The Inn is only a few metres from the Chinatown Markets & the mrt is
so close that if you have a fair amount of baggage, you won't have
far to drag it if you catch the train to or from Changi. The rooms are
not big but really clean and there's no elevator but its a very
short climb up the stairs anyhow.. Your hardly ever there so its not a
big deal! There's plenty of sightseeing close by, malls and eating
establishments are everywhere within a couple of minutes walking

My husband and I was very impressed with the lady in housekeeping her name is "MUNI" she was very helpful, courteous and if we had a problem concerning our room she went out of her way to get the problem resolved.Thank you Muni for making our stay at Santa Grand Hotel very pleasant. Yes the rooms are small but it wasn't a problem for us - we spent more time enjoying the city and the hotel was mostly used as a place to get our heads down. I stayed for 2 night with my wife and my daughter...overall good
..especially cleaness, quietness, all equipment running well ....air
condition, hot & cool water, lighting, pillow, bed sheet, towel,
etc and very near with shopping center...just across the street for
sight seeing or dinner in high or cheap price.... More than that mrt
station just a few step. Room size small, but I think this is normal
for S'pore ...the only country with expensive living cost in
south east asia
