The staff were extremely helpful and friendly our driver Andrew very helpful and interesting telling us the history the hotel a unique experience as was not generic just gorgeous something you would not find anywhere else in the world. Would highly recommend -

We've spent about 8 weeks in St. Petersburg over the past 5 years as
students, and our dorms were located in old Soviet apartment blocks; so
this hotel was a welcomed change for our short visit back to Peter!! The
hotel was very clean, which surprised me as most of St. Petersburg is on
the dirtier side. I thought that aspect of the visit was excel

A very correct hotel, with extremely large bar/ dining room complex
and a pub open late. Excellent food in that pub (which is a rare thing
to find in that town). Excellent coffee, and plenty of space to
comfortably read a paper. Location is excellent - not right at the
center with all its tourist traps but a little kickback at calm
Vasilevsky Island. A very good place on the whole although on the
expensive side.

really clean and well equipped for this price.
We could find whatever we need in the apartment and staff was very kind and helpful. 10 minutes by foot from the city center, a lot of bars and cafes. Sushi was very good!

Response staff - When we reported AC problems someone arrived right away, checked the settings, and we received a call offering to relocate us to a room with working AC. Also used the concierge services and it worked well.

From the moment I made the reservation to the time I finally walked
out the front door, the staff did everything in their power to make
life easy. Their Tourist Visa Support was impeccable and the airport

It took me a lot of time to book a hotel in St. Pete. But the 5th Corner was worth all my time. I enjoyed my staying there very much. Everything was super cool: the staff, the location, the cleanliness, breakfasts. Comfort is very important for me and that's the hotel where you get it to the full. A week's time lived like at home. After working and eyeful of the city to be able to recuperate tomorrow. Enjoyed the opportunity to cook a light supper as large hotels, the lack of such conditions. Very nice hotel staff: polite, pleasant, good-natured and friendly. -

This place is absolutely recommended. It is right by a canal and views are beautiful, even when you are having breakfast (which is also very complete by the way). Besides it is very easy to get to the center from there and metro stations are very close if you want to move farther away. This hotel is really a bargain given its quality.

Traditional hotel from old times but well modernized and maintained.
Fairly comparable with western business hotels. Good location next to
underground station. We were given a junior suite by price of standard
twin due to booking situation and arrival at 19:30 so can't review
normal room but suite was excellent. Reception staff was really helpful

The location is nice and the rooms are big and always clean. They really do look like in the picture. Bathrooms were also clean. Beds were made. Wireless available, very high speed (we had the room next to the reception). All in all, I would stay there again.

The Anchikov has only a few rooms and the staff really treat all of their guests like a kings and queens. From the minute I arrived to the minute I left the staff did everything to make my stay a pleasurable one. For example, I had problems getting my rail tickets confirmed online and was about to purchase new tickets if the staff had not worked

The staff were superb and always on hand to help. The location was ideal and meant that everything in the historic heart of the city was within walking distance. The water cooler was very handy!

The staff was very available. My walet was stollen in the street with money and ID card and others important things. One person of the satff came with us to the police station to declare the robbery. We went to the police station with one of the hotel's car. The person was very nice.
No problems in this hotel. -
