We've spent about 8 weeks in St. Petersburg over the past 5 years as
students, and our dorms were located in old Soviet apartment blocks; so
this hotel was a welcomed change for our short visit back to Peter!! The
hotel was very clean, which surprised me as most of St. Petersburg is on
the dirtier side. I thought that aspect of the visit was excel

A very correct hotel, with extremely large bar/ dining room complex
and a pub open late. Excellent food in that pub (which is a rare thing
to find in that town). Excellent coffee, and plenty of space to
comfortably read a paper. Location is excellent - not right at the
center with all its tourist traps but a little kickback at calm
Vasilevsky Island. A very good place on the whole although on the
expensive side.

Response staff - When we reported AC problems someone arrived right away, checked the settings, and we received a call offering to relocate us to a room with working AC. Also used the concierge services and it worked well.

The staff was very helpful. They spoke very good English and were able to help me with translation issues and directions. I had a room on the street side, which I was pleasantly surprised did not have much noise. The room was comfortable and clean. There were a couple of English speaking channels on the TV. The WIFI connection was very strong

I really appreciated the outstanding service that that the staff offered to us. While there, I had my passport stolen by a pickpocket on a bus and Svetlana, a staff member, took us to the police station and assisted us by acting as a translator. While enroute to the station, she gave us a running commnentary on the sights in St. Petersburg. The food in the two hotel resturants were excellent, but the one called Marius had more choices.

From the moment I made the reservation to the time I finally walked
out the front door, the staff did everything in their power to make
life easy. Their Tourist Visa Support was impeccable and the airport

It took me a lot of time to book a hotel in St. Pete. But the 5th Corner was worth all my time. I enjoyed my staying there very much. Everything was super cool: the staff, the location, the cleanliness, breakfasts. Comfort is very important for me and that's the hotel where you get it to the full. Don't miss a chance to stay there when in St. Pete.

This place is absolutely recommended. It is right by a canal and views are beautiful, even when you are having breakfast (which is also very complete by the way). Besides it is very easy to get to the center from there and metro stations are very close if you want to move farther away. This hotel is really a bargain given its quality.

Traditional hotel from old times but well modernized and maintained.
Fairly comparable with western business hotels. Good location next to
underground station. We were given a junior suite by price of standard
twin due to booking situation and arrival at 19:30 so can't review
normal room but suite was excellent. Reception staff was really helpful

Great staff who took time to give us recommendations, give directions, etc. They also speak English well which was an important bonus. Breakfast is a good spread with lots of variety, definitely saved time and money on that. And the location is excellent- right near Nevsky and just a 10-15 min walk to all main attractions. The location is perfect, a block from Nevsky avenue. You can walk to
every city attraction. The personnel is wonderfull, excellent english
and helpful. A complete breakfast, with russian specialities and also
continental food for foreigners. Nice room, bathroom, pleasant heating,
an electric kettle with tea bags were appreciated at night.

The staff was very available. My walet was stollen in the street with money and ID card and others important things. One person of the satff came with us to the police station to declare the robbery. We went to the police station with one of the hotel's car. The person was very nice.
No problems in this hotel. -

I like very much the state of the room and the work of personal, responsible for cleaning as well as the work of the receptionists, which were very friendly and helpful to us.
Especially I would like to single out Irina (at reception desk) and Vera (the waitress responsible for breakfast with her very friendly attitude and jazz music in the morning).
