The hotel was basic but very clean. It was very close to the river and an easy walk to the Hermitage and winter palace. The staff were helpful and friendly and spoke enough English to answer basic questions. -

Location could not possibly have been better for closeness to Nevsky Prospect and Winter Palace. The hotel was in the inner part of a courtyard so it was nice and quiet for sleeping. Breakfast was good and the rooms were in very nice shape. You could tell they had recently redone the rooms as everything looked pretty new. -

Great location. Neat rooms, enough space. We were changing the rooms during stay and I cannot say which one of two I liked better. It's nice that you can get in through back yard getting feel of old city. Dostoyevskiy's places are near, if you are in it. -

All the stuffs are very friendly and made my trip enjoyable.If you have any question such as visa voucher and trasportation from the airport(taxi), they give you the answer by email right away. It was very helpful. The room is big enough for one person and well cleaned, and free wi-fi is good, too! The location is perfect. I could walk to many tourist spots, especially the Church of the Savior on Blood is 2-3 mins on foot from the hotel.

I arrived by train and by taking Bus number 22 I have arrived at the Hotel an hour after. I had a very warm welcome from Alexander who explained to me all about the Hotel and the area.The room was very nice bed very comfortable and a nice warm bathroom. I found there everything I needed - a working shower in a huge warm-
floore (surprise!) bathroom, warm well furnitured room with a bottle of
water for free (surprise!) and it was a real pleasure to have a cup of
tea in bed, not in dining room (I asked the receptionist and he allowed
me to take it from the ground floor) in the evening. The breakfast is
wery reach.

This place is absolutely recommended. It is right by a canal and views are beautiful, even when you are having breakfast (which is also very complete by the way). Besides it is very easy to get to the center from there and metro stations are very close if you want to move farther away. This hotel is really a bargain given its quality.

Helpful staff, they smiled all the time and did everything to help us! Good breakfast many choices! It's really close to "producti's" (small local grocery stores) and to some cafes and to pushkinkaya metro station, also walking to Nevsky prospect is not far a at all!!
