excellent stay! i travel the world over, just about every week I'm in a new place but have never stayed at a Kempinski before. The staff we great. The room was great. I got upgraded and dont even know why as i dont have a Kempinski loyalty card - but i do now! Will definitely stay again. Thoroughly recommend -

This is the second time I've stayed in this hotel and I will definitely come back again. Location is terrific! All the main attractions and sights are within the walking distance. The room was spacious, well-furnished and clean (both of the times). The superior double was huge, the bathroom itself was the size of a regular room! It is an excellent boutique hotel in a very good location. Everything is close- the Hermitage, Nevsky prospect, the Dome etc. Staff is very friendly, extremely helpful and polite. I'd like to commend Vasili,- an exceptionally professional receptionist. The hotel is full of character, decorated with taste which becomes the old building in the grand part of St. Petersburg. Very clean, has around the clock self-service stand of coffee and tea in the lobby, good internet connection.

A very good hotel in an excellent location with great staff. Close to everything, suitable for sighseeing. The rooms were clean with all basic amenities. The staff was more than helpful on every request we had. ATM inside the hotel and 24h supermarket nearby also very convinient.Recommended as value for money. -

Location could not possibly have been better for closeness to Nevsky Prospect and Winter Palace. The hotel was in the inner part of a courtyard so it was nice and quiet for sleeping. Breakfast was good and the rooms were in very nice shape. You could tell they had recently redone the rooms as everything looked pretty new. -

Great location. Neat rooms, enough space. We were changing the rooms during stay and I cannot say which one of two I liked better. It's nice that you can get in through back yard getting feel of old city. Dostoyevskiy's places are near, if you are in it. -
