The Arbat Hotel is centrally located near the Smolenskaya Metrostation and very close to the Arbat mainstreet. The Kremlin is within walking distance (20 min) but is also readily accessible via the metro. There is free wireless internet in the hall and restaurant. The restaurant is fine with reasonable prizes and a charming garden. -

The room was large, comfortable, clean and well-equipped with a very nice bathroom. I was able to have a quiet room on a non-smoking floor, which I really appreciate. The staff were always helpful and pleasant, and those at the desk spoke good English. -

As soon as I arrived, the receptionist (who helped me) spoke very good
english and showed me my room. This made me feel at home straight away,
as my russian is beginner level and quite poor. Very friendly and
smiling person, I won't forget her, a pleasure to deal with.

For the price I paid I think the single room was more than ok. Clean,
new funiture, really warm. The position of the Hotel is really great -
just right outside of the 3 metro lines. It's 5-10 min walk to the
streat of bars and restaurants with quite reasonable prices (for Moscow)

We selected Ulanskaya hotel as it was close to the Red line, and we came
for the rugby tournament held at Luhinski stadium, over a 3 day period.
Olga made the stay extremely special, as she helped us in so many ways, and made our trip ore omfortable. She advised us of places to go and to see, arrange airport transfers, and even walked us to the post office.
