  I think the location was good because it was very nice around the hotel but driving in nothing else looked as nice. The dinner in the hotel was excellent with great borscht. - Nice view from the rooms (well, not the ugly apartment block opposite, but towards the cathedral etc), good breakfast and v speedy laundary service.

  A very nice hotel! I've been in other Raddison hotels in US and Europe and the quality of Radisson Blu Hotel Kaliningrad is the same or even better. The breakfast was great! Another great thing the fact that the hotel has bicycles (unfortunately, we have no chance to use them). The hotel is 10 minutes by walk near the train station. This hotel is very large and you get a large and comfortable room for relatively little money and a very nice view of the city. Good WiFi coverage and easy login procedure. Two in-house restaurants with friendly and efficient - but alas, only Russian-speaking - staff. Would absolutely stay here next time in K'grad.
