In my opinion the location is excellent. Very close to the central pedestrian street but is a bit (in 5 minutes walking by feet) in a distance. Another advantage is the metro station is very near by, in 1-2 minutes by walk. The good news is that there actually was no really bad news during our stay. This Ibis is more or less what you could expect from an Ibis hotel in any other place. Very clean. We used a "smart deal" option from letsbookhotel.com (around 50 Euros per night) and I think it was an excellent choice.

Clean, well-furnished standard room; good breakfast (smorgasbord); good location (for the travellers who like to walk, as there is no way to get to the hotel except car or your own foot) - at the high banch of the river, near the place where young people like to dance outdoor :) -

Probably one of the best hotel in Nizhny. Rooms are very comfortable. Staff is very nice and helpful. The fitness center stay open until 23h00. -
Nice looking hotel, great gym with sauna on a first floor (free).

Great location in the centre, just a few steps from the Kremlin (quite a walk up the hill though) and near one of the main streets (Rozhdestvenka) which is well-packed will all kinds of bars & restaurants.
But the hotel itself is located in a very quite sides treet.
