  The location is quite good - you just need to take tram 1 from Amsterdam Centraal train station and in 20 min go out at Eerste Constantjin station. Then in some 300 metres along the street which is opposite to the street with trams, there's a hotel in glass building. It was eady enough to find the way into the building but not inside it. The location is great. Close to many restaurants, cafes & shops. It is also a quick tram ride to major attractions. Amadi Park hotel was easy to locate as was reception. Not sure why others had difficulty finding it, as instructions given were quite clear. Nespresso machine & drinks in mini bar containing 2 of the following drinks coke, beer & water) were provided for free which is an added bonus.

  I hugely recommend staying at No56. The owner, Didi, made us feel very welcome and was able to provide us with information about attractions, events, and sightseeing tours in the city. The attention to detail in terms of the facilities and home comforts offered by the owner of No56 is excellent.   We picked this because of the price and because we drove up from Brussels. Parking in the inner city is very difficult.Great help from the owners beforehand and when we got there. We'll appointed, excellent facilities including a fridge full of beer & spirits. For a group of guys on a football trip this was heaven. Nice wee touches like brollys being available.I wouldn't hesitate using the apartment again - Monica and her husband were excellent hosts. The house was stocked with drinks and groceries and though it was not free I felt that the prices were fair. Location was quiet and 5 mins walk from the nearest tram which took about 20 mins to the centre of town. We were a group of 5 and everyone in the group was impressed at the value for money. We will definitely be back.
