  Frankly, it was the best choise I have ever made. &Quot;House of Amstel" is very central in terms of location, you can find the place very easily just a few minutes of walking from Dam Sqaure, it is actually at the intersection of several busy streets such as Damrak and Amstel ; it's called Muntplein. Apart from excellent location the place is very comfortable, you have everything under your hand. You can - We were met at the apartments by Kai who explained everything for us and gave us some great tips on things to do whilst we were there. The apartments were very clean and comfortable and the location was excellent. It was located a few minutes from Dam Square, one of the main attractions in Amsterdam. There was a great view of the river Amstel from the apartment windows with all the boats passing by at regular intervals.

  A very nice place to stay with friendly and especially helpful staff. Breakfast is good, the place is spotless, and it is to very close to the sights, and the train station. Since it is a docked boat it is also very quiet. Don't forget it is a boat cabin what you will get. In the summer, this boat cruises the waterways of France. As long as you expect cramped, boat cabin accommodations and a staff of one, it's fine.

  Everything was very good. Comfortable rooms, clean and cosy hotel, really not far from railway station. Personal is very friendly, I have only best ratings for their work. - The cleanliness, location & concept. En suite bathroom. Breakfast and the staff. Would definitely come back to Hotelboat Iris.

  I stayed in this hotel with my wife. We arrived sooner than planned in Amsterdam and had to leave our baggage in the hotel before the check-in time, but that was absolutely no problem. The room is perfect, clean and spacious, with a great view to the river and equipped with a nice shower, toilet and kitchen. For breakfast, we were left all the necessary ingredie - Excellent stay. We chose this as it is something different and more fun than an ordinary hotel and it was fabulous. Centrally located (10 mins walk from Centraal) but quiet. The standard of accommodation was excellent. Lovely to sit in the wheel house with a drink in hand looking out over the water. Very friendly and helpful host. Would definitely stay here again.

All is majoritary positive : a very good location, the very helpful, charming hostess, the convivality in the boat.. - We slept on a boat - what else can I say? :) Very friendly staff (father and daughter), they helped us with all our questions. Of course the rooms are a bit small (and so was the bathroom), but this was to be expec... ce que les gens disent » ted on a boat. We really loved that it was so well located, everything is reachable by foot. And the prices are pretty cheap, even the breakfast was included. There was coffee and tea all day. I would highly recommend it for a special Amsterdam-trip. :) - Fantastic location, very friendly staff, and great value for money. Cheapest room with ensuite in Amsterdam! Nice to be on a houseboat, very relaxing.

  Amsterdam's a walkable city and the Avanti is just right in the Middle of the City a 7 minutes walk from the Central Station! Made life really easy as I could explore and return at anytime without bothering when the tram and the like would close. Breakfast added too was great as well as the fridge and microwave so we could get up at anytime and make a qui - Brilliant location, excellent facilities, friendly and helpful staff. Our hosts went out of their way to provide help, information and warmth to us, and we really couldn't have asked for anything more.
