The Old Lady is a restored terrace on the canal in Amsterdam. We rented the apartment which is spacious, comfortable and clean. The building is very well located only minutes from the railway station and right on one of the canals. Most of the city's attractions, shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. The hosts are very cooperative and an excellent breakfast was provided.

Nous sommes complètement séduits et admiratifs du confort, de la beauté,de la comodité. C'est vraiment un excellent séjour, propre, chaud, touty est et Martin la personne qui vous reçoit est trés sympatique. Il fautmarcher à peu près 30 à 40 minutes pour arriver à la station centrale,mais nous avons tout fait à pied durant nos 5 jours. Bravo! - Fac

All of the staff were gracious and solicitous. Our room, though without a canal or garden view, was beautifully designed and exceptionally quiet. One of the reasons we chose Canal House was the garden which exceeded our expectations as a comfortable and beautiful place to chill out, read and enjoy a pre-dinner aperitif. As I needed to rest my foot one day, it was a particularly welcome amenity.
