Petit hotel dans une jolie maison de l'Age d'Or d'Amsterdam, idéalement situé dans un quartier plein de vie et de charme. On avait chaque soir l'impression de rentrer "chez soi", et d' être devenu en quelques jours un peu des Amsterdamois. - Hotel de charme très cosy.

We stayed at the Clemens for three nights in November and enjoyed everything about our stay. Great location - we walked everywhere. When arriving in Amsterdam, we walked from the station to the hotel about 10 minutes but did take a cab to the airport when we left; the hotel made arrangements for us. I liked all of it - this is a quirky, little hotel which has the best location - 10 minutes from main station and 2 minutes from Anne Frank's house. Small room but everything you need, including a little fridge, tea and coffee and a complimentary drink when you arrive. Very friendly, efficient staff. Staff were really friendly and the location was good! We went clubbing each night and came in around 6 but they had no problems with letting us in at whatever time. The guys at reception gave us about 100 maps because we kept asking for directions and they were really helpful! Clean towels everyday from cleaners and toilet roll always replenished.

I liked the fact there's an elevator, the place was clean and seemed nice. the owners seemed very nice and friendly and pleasant. there's a free breakfast with two kinds of breads, buns, cereal, juice, coffee, tea, sliced meat. It wasn't the best breakfast selection but it was pretty good for the value. Loved the resident cat that kept wandering in and out dying for attention :) the lounge/breakfast area was nice.

The owner, Mike, very polite and servicing. The breakfast also very good, although was a bit late as needed to leave early, bit it is ok given this hotel is not for business travellers and I chose it because I needed to attend a conference, and had to do it at the very last minute. I was very lucky with this place. I recommend it. -
