Location good 10 minutes walk from metro and 5 min from bus. Internet works good. Room clean offer all you need to have in room. Offers sauna and hot pools for free is great. -

It's located near the train station, and bus stop which has easy access to shopping centers and tourist destinations, and the downtown Kyoto. There are some restaurants and convenient stores around the hotel. Rooms are clean, beds and pillows were comfy, and all 3 types of the breakfast were yummy. we had no choice but booked a family room (2 nights) good for 5 people but we were only just 2 adults with our 15 month old since no better hotel was available during our trip. it turned out a great choice because it was very spacious and clean and cozy. my lil toddler love running around. will booked same hotel again if we ever get back to Kyoto next time. worth money spent with good breakfast delivered to our room every morning. :)

Very close to the subway. Clean and airy room, size wasn't too bad
for japan. 5 min walk to the main shopping strip and maybe a 15-20 min
walk to Gion. Lots of restaurants nearby and 2 small supermarkets on the

Staff were friendly and we tried to tip the valet, but she refused our money and later we were advised by Japanese friends that this is customary as hotel already charges tax. It was very honest of her. Also, family room was spacious and fantastic. -

The Ryokan was situated on a quiet side road minutes from Kyoto station. A minute away was a nice breakfast place and in and around the station there were numerous eating places for dinner. The Ryokan was spotlessly clean and the staff friendly and helpful in supplying maps and information on sightseeing.

The staff was so friendly and kind! The room was small but clean and adorable and exactly what I was looking for. There is free WiFi, TV, and a kitchen with lots of appliances. -

The location is very good. Easy to reach from the station. The staff was very helpful for hints and tips on eating places, transportation and places to visit. The value for the price was excellent. Everything on the practical side.
The 'room' was a small flat, spacious with a large wardrobe.
Clean towels, sheets and covers in the closets, a small kitchen, which didn't have any pots and pans, or other kitchen ware, but I borrowed some from the young girl who looks after the rooms.

Bathroom, sink and toilet separated into each their space, but it worked well. -
I just LOVE the bathroom! There's a modern hi-tech bathtub with which you can press a few buttons and have the water ready at the right temperature and at the right level. It can even keep the water warm! The ventilation system and toliet are also amazing.
The hotel is located in a quiet residential area and you can take bus to go to sightseeing places. There are a few temples round the corner and creates a very good atmosphere. There's also a public bath within a 5-minute walk distance. We gav

Everything was great! The room was cozy for the six days Ive stayed in! Icy cold air conditioning! The owner's mother who runs it is absolutely darling! And everything was super clean with wonderful service. I liked the area because although I was a bit far from the train station, once you got your head around it, you can get there easily in 15-20

The hotel is actually quite "self-service" but no worries,
there is a staff that will assist you when you check in. She is really
friendly and helpful. The room was very cozy and comfort, equipped with
