Le onsen dans l hotel et l accueil qui fut exceptionnel -
I will remember this place as the one of the best I stayed in Japan.
Staff was awesome and very helpful, room was big and we had a great view on the Hakone mountains. There is also onsen that is open 24/7.
Hotel is placed bit a side of the main routes which some people may find troublesom

In other words - one of the best place to stay in Hakone area. -
Very friendly owners. Good and clean. Good location and Solo Pizza (about 1km away) is excellent.

it was my first time to Japan and this was a grat experience as very typical and not western - slipers, tatami mats, paper walls, really cute. The best of all - private onsen. -
The Ryokan was very typical, and the hot springs were very relaxing. The owner had poor English but was very helpful

Fuji-Hakone guesthouse is very popular and they were fully booked when I visited.
Their staff are friendly and can speak English very well. 2 of them have been to Singapore.

Loved the setting and the homely atmosphere at the guest house. There was only a double room available but wanted to see the area so much I booked which cost double the single price. When the staff found this out, they gave me free breakfast and use of the outdoor onsen for free which I did not expect. Very generous and would definitely stay again if visiting the sites at Hakone/
