  A lovely stay in a castle in a less touristy area. It matched our expectations! The room was tastefully decorated and roomy. The breakfast was included in the price and was one of the better ones we experienced on our trip. It included fresh fruit and a variety of options. Seems like one of Italy's best kept secrets. - We were treated like royalty. The night manager-director,Elena, was knowledgeable, charming, welcoming and made great suggestions re our dinner, wine, etc. The countryside is beautiful,our room and private bath were lovely and the castle surroundings and village were charming.Dinner was also very tasty. Though we arrived in pouring rain, the morning of our checkout was gorgeous and one could really enjoy the castle setting.
