The breakfasts were fantastic with wide variety of food, staff behind the desk friendly and helpful, cleaning staff friendly, rooms spotlessly cleaned and made everyday, close to train.   The location was superb, the staff were very helpful. The room was very comfortable albeit I would have preferred a external view. Would book again, for weekend or short city break. What you see is what you get. No complaints at all. Just a short advisory could be added to the listing to help travellers arriving by bus or train. Both stations a... ce que les gens disent » re within 5 mins walk but unless you have a city map or speak a little Italian could be awkward to find. - Apartment located close to train station, easy to walk and also close to the centre by foot. The apartment was huge and very clean. Reception staff were friendly and polite and should you wish to leave luggage of your check out day that's no problem. Would stay here again if we were in Trieste. There is a bar/cafe just next door but we didn't use it so cannot comment. There is also a supermaket very close by on the next block.

  We got in very late due to airline delay..and they were wonderful in holding our room and getting us into the hotel room. The breakfasts were fantastic. The room price was worth every dollar. They even helped us avoid an 18 Euro parking fee every day by telling us about the very reasonable metered parking lot right across the street. The views wer... ce que les gens disent » e great. The location was perfect. You can walk everywhere from the Savoia. A perfect jumping off place to go to Croatia and Slovenia. We have been to - The location of the hotel on the waterfront and in the center of historical amenities are two reasons to stay here. The city bus services are conveniently located just outside the hotel's doors. The hotel is located in an historical building (we had a balcony facing the water) with rooms that were immaculate and whose staff were very helpful. An added bonus was that our car rental office was only a few minutes' walk from the hotel.

  Perfect location, near sea and in the very center of old part of the town. Very helpful staff, they let us enter the room before 9:00 am on the first day and kept our luggage until 8:00 pm on the last day.   We liked everything about this hotel! What can we say? Very well situated, clean, cosy, friendly and helpful personnel.. You get a special price for the parking which is situated close to the hotel. We will definitely come back! - This is an exceedingly nice B&B in a prime location. Everything was new and well designed.

They were absolutely wonderful and went well out of their way to assure our time there surpassed all our expectations. I am in love with the Banne area, and the warm feelings come mostly from staying at this B&B.
