Staff were fantastic and hotel was in great spot.
The view is just amazing and its position in Sorrento great. The breakfasts were the best of all our 3 weeks in Italy and the staff very helpful.

Excellent view of the bay of Naples from our balcony. Our room was bright clean and had a large balcony and the staff were very friendly.

The hotel staff (front desk, dining room, maids) were exceptional and went out of their way to be helpful. All spoke English very well. The property was extremely well kept and clean. The views were magnificent, the location perfect.
The only minus - while the tile floors (everywhere) were very clean, it made the hallways noisy. The walls were also not insulated for sound.

The friendly staff
The view of the Bay of Naples/Sorrento is outstanding (most rooms with balconies) and the staff are courteous and helpful. A very clean hotel that was a good base for visiting Amalfi coast, Pompei etc, even out of season. (Feb 08).
The unexpected charge for the sauna was a little vexatious, especially as our first room was rather cool and it had limited hot water.

If you are looking for a hotel room with a wonderful view, Hotel Bristol is a perfect choice
Avoid hotel restaurant. It looks like a cantine and is very expensive

thin walls...could hear everything our neighbors did. The staff moved us to a different room after the first night, and things were fine from there.
Slightly out of town
You could not use cash at the hotel. Everything from towel hire for the swimming pool to a coffee/drink at the bar was put on the tab
