  Hotel Clarisse is lovely. Simple rooms but clean and comfortable. However it's the staff that make it a great hotel. They go out of their way to help you with your traveling plans around Rome and make you feel welcome. Sergio in particular was wonderful to us. He told us about an amazing local restaurant, found last minute tour to the Vatican, and... ce que les gens disent » even accompanied me to a shoe repair to help translate. I would stay here again simply for the service. - The hotel staff were all very nice and extremely helpful. They assisted with setting up tours and transportation. They even packed our breakfast to go, since our tour departed before the restaurant opened. We didn't spend much time in the room other than to shower and sleep, but the rooms were comfortable with good air conditioning (August!) and doors that opened to the courtyard. We were able to walk to many of the major sites. It was lovely.

  Francesco the owner made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived and he was a wonderful host for the duration of my stay in Rome. The location of Baldassini is perfect. It is so central that most things are within very easy walking distance, and it's always such a pleasure to walk the streets of this beautiful city.   The hosts are very friendly - they gave us maps and a brief introduction of the city of Rome. The hosts stay at the premise too so you feel safe and you can get them whenever you need help. You will need to share a bathroom with two other rooms (there are three rooms together) and it was a bit stressful to start with, but it ended up to be no issu... ce que les gens disent » e. The bathroom and the rooms are very clean and they smell nice. The bathroom was cleaned very regularly. Location is good - it's about 500 meters fr - Nothing is important, just the host! Gracia! He was very friendly and helpful. He is the face of Italy! :) Do not stress, because of the shared bathroom: It is not like a bathroom in a hostel, but it is like at home. The breakfast bar with local people was also an excellent choice. Arriverderci B&B Venus.
