We were contacted in advance and offered various options for a transfer to the hotel from the airport, and chose a private driver who was there and waiting for us.   The reason I chose this hotel was the fabulous location - when in Rome,I spend most of my time at the ancient monuments, and this place is right at the bottom of the via Cavour, literally a minute or two from the Roman and Imperial Fora. Everything was clean and though the style of decor would, for some, probably be a little out of date, I thought it was quite charming. Note though - Once we arrived the staff was prompt and happy to greet us. Though we didn't speak Italian they spoke enough English to communicate perfectly. The stay was great, we decided we needed to stay a second night without booking it and they ensured me it wasn't a problem offering me the same rate. Ana Paola and Luigi were extremely polite and helpful. The location is right dead in the heart of Ancient Rome, absolutely amazing for the price. Tons of restaurants and bars close as well.

  The staffs there were very friendly. Also, it was very very clean and comfortable. Its bed, its bathroom, its TV, its small refrigerator, .... are great. Its restaurant and the quality of their foods and the price is amazing. I suggest that try it. Only note that if you want to check in after 2PM they serve lunch until 2PM.   The staff were excellent, Mario arranged all of our trips and walks around the city which meant that we were able to enjoy our trip more without having to worry. Downstairs in the resturant, Constantinou was an excellent waiter, who was very friendly and always happy to help. In the evening, we had plenty of fun with Jess and Roberto. I would definitely stay - The hostel is located near the main train terminal and also close to most attractions. Staff was kind and helpful, specially Mario who created personalized itineraries for each day of our stay and gave great tips. We stayed in a private room, it was comfortable and it had a big enough bathroom. Value for this room was OK since something similar would have been more expensive in any other hotel this close to the city center.
