Ce que les gens disent
The hotel was located central to all the sights of Rome that we were interested in visiting: Spanish steps, Palantine Hill, Colosseum, etc. There was a never ending source of restaurants, cafes, shops around the hotel. We were a five-minute walk to the Metro which made it convenient for us to get to with all our luggage. Breakfast was served in the room and received on time each morning which was a nice touch to add value to the service. The decor was very rustic and the furniture was dark . tous commentaires »
We loved this little hotel - the bathroom was large (for European
standards). All of the employees we dealt with where quite friendly and
very helpful. We would definitely recommend this hotel as we were able
to walk everywhere we wanted to visit - the Vatican, Pantheon, Piazza
Navona, Coliseum, Trevi fountain and Spanish Steps.
Huge, enormous rooms! Customer service was excellent, our ac wasn't working well the first night and they fixed it the first day. Still wasn't working very well, but they got it working great the next night. Great location as well!!.
Very unique rooms, located in a central part of Rome. Easy to walk around. Never needed a taxi, except to get to the airport.
Great Location......
Good a7c.
A little hard to find as it is tucked in a side lane and very dark leading up to it. (We arrived at about 9:30 p.m.) There was no one there to let us in to the hotel once we did arrive. We had to call to have someone come to let us in. They did, however, show up very quickly so we only waited about 5 minutes to be let in.
The lighting in the room (for evenings) was inadequate due to the dark furnishings and dark ceiling.
It was very hot while we were in Rome. The room did have an air
conditioner, but it struggled to keep up (although it worked much better
than the one in a room we had in Paris!!).
The key to the door--one of those ancient long keys that fits into a big key hole--didn't always work easily. The lock was fidgety. We couldn't unlock the door to our room for about 15 minutes on the first night, until a neighbor helped us out. It freaked out the family.
no staff.
too little room around bed, room generally much too small.
