  A wonderful place to stay Great location, right on the water. A modern hotel built into an historic building. The room was adequate in size and amenities. Parking is close, but it is in the blue spaces so you need to be collecting coins to feed the meter. You don’t pay from midnight to 8:00 and for a few hours mid-day, so it is not expensive or a ... ce que les gens disent » problem. It is only a few meters from Via Liberta, Via Garibaldi, Via Torrearsa which are the main shopping and dining streets. It is away from the cr - My family and I loved every minute of our stay at the beautifully renovated La Gancia! We stayed with a 4 month old baby and the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and happy! Personal attention and courtesy was given by all the staff: at reception, breakfast bar and evening drinks. Thank you Residence La Gancia, we will recommend you to all our friends.

Good location in centre of town, but still very quiet. Excellent kitchen facilities with refrigerator, cooker and utensils. Beautiful, peaceful gardens and courtyard. Wi-Fi and multi-channel TV. Loads of space in very clean rooms, balconies with sea view and huge comfortable beds.

  We loved Marettimo and this hotel was a good place to enjoy it from. The rooms are simple but comfortable and clean without the dreaded plastic mattress covers we often found elsewhere in Sicily. The staff were friendly and helpful. All you need to relax at the sea. Best stay of our trip!

  We have staying in bungalow. They are completely equipped and stylish. Every second day there is a change of linen. Small patio in front of bungalow is surrounded by olive trees. Each breakfast and dinner were festive; grilling area helps us to create something unusal to it. We spent each day in Zingaro Reserve which is only in 6 km far from Guidaloca. It is impossible to describe Zingaro; - We loved the white stone igloo under pine and olive trees. Each igloo is contained in its own rosemary hedged area and while we were there, other guests were quiet and unobtrusive. The bed was comfortable, cooking facilities adequate although we lived on antipasti and fruit so didn't test small oven. Breakfast provided was fine, but much more fun to buy stuff at local mercado on way to Scopello and relax on own terrace. The Shower in bathroom is efficient. It reminded me of up market camping

  First of all, Sicily is one of coolest places we've ever been. Custonaci is a small, cozy, beautiful, calm city with very relaxing and heartful lifestyle and with smiling friendly enhabitants. Surrounding area is very very beautiful, mountains, parks with wild nature and the sea. The hotel (well the word is not very suitable as it's too official f... ce que les gens disent » or that nice place, i'd better use word the Residence) is located 50 meters from the main street and maybe 300 meters from the church and city center. - Giuseppe (the owner) was an amazing host, friendly and willing to help you with everything. the apartments were very well equipped with all the necessary!! The staff was friendly and the location was perfect to see all the West Sicily area and Egadi's Islands (by car!) The people from this little village, Custonaci, were so lovely and friendly! I would recommend it! Well done Giuseppe!! In bocca al lupo per tutto!!!

  We liked everything! The owner is very friendly and helpful, offering plenty of info on the things to do and places to see. The apartment is very large and clean. It is located close to the center and yet in a quiet street, which was perfect for us. Located in a narrow street with no cars. Access to roof terrace. Large fridge and facilities to cook. The owner offered us a lot of possibilities for additional services (scooter rent, tips on beaches, set up of boat trips)
