The Petrara Resort is a charming agriturismo resort in Avola. During our stay there, there were no wandering farm animals except for a couple of cats. What a haven of peace & tranqulity set in beautiful gardens with a very inviting pool - we had a lovely time just wished we`d stayed longer.Our hosts couldn`t do enough for us and even followed us out in the morning to make sure we got on the motorway ok - thankyou for a very relaxing stay.

Great location, very accommodating.. Very helpful staff, very close to Fontana Bianche.. The bicycles available for free on the property were a great way to get to the beach and rocks. The restaurant on site is amazing.. The wait staff was incredible and very accommodating.. -

Really great place. Very good location, amazing service, very helpful and freindly staff. Romantic dinner on the terrace at night is unforgetable. Free parking. Very close to Zingaro park. -
It was easy to walk to the village and handy for the beach. The view from terrace was spectacular the room comfortable.

Loved the reception, both staff and room. When they gave us a ceramic bottle of water "old style, works by evaporation to keep the water cold", I knew we had landed somewhere "real". This was quite a find, and perhaps 2 kilometers from the ruins at Agrigento. The recommended restaurant, las pinetas, rounded out a perfect stay. -

We loved Marettimo and this hotel was a good place to enjoy it from. The rooms are simple but comfortable and clean without the dreaded plastic mattress covers we often found elsewhere in Sicily. Lovely room, terrace & breakfast.
The accomodation was perhaps a little basic but spacious and everything you need is available and functioning.
The island is perfect and peaceful. Some restaurants and little shops. All you need to relax at the sea.

The location, up a private road, was superb giving wonderful views of
the surrounding countryside and even a glimpse of the sea. The
restaurant was excellent as was the service. Tomasso, one of the
waiters, was excellent and also very funny! Breakfast was moderate - we
had better breakfasts at other hotels during our trip. -

Great dinner, reasonably priced, and breakfast; lovely walks. SOme of the facilities, such as gym were not available for some reason but we did not really mind.

The loaction may seem a little way-out but its a short walk to a good beach. The owner was really nice and helped us print our airline ticket in his house. There is a nice area for BBQ out the back, and a little retreat with hammocks. We would recommend this for a group of people to stay as the on-site bar/restaurant is a good place to chill. very comfortable altogether!

J'ai aimé la proximité de la plage. Une très bonne qualité et propreté du jardin extérieur qui vous dépayse vraiment.
L'équipe d'animation était super.
Le restaurant est plutôt de bonne qualité.

Congratulations! This place is magical! On the top of a hill with small palm-islands in the center of a big garden and a fantastic view of the sea from the terrace – everything is wonderful!
