I would really like to recimmend this hotel. I was staying there in May
2013. The hotel is located in the very city center in the beginning of a
pedestrian area. It is nice looking, new and super clean. Besides all
the neccessary stuff like a bed you can also find in the room a big
sofa, new tv, Nespresso coffee machine, minibar, wardrobe, etc. The
bathroom is also new and bog enough.

- Excelent staff, very helpful and friendly. They give you good advice on what to do, discounts for scooter renting and they even returned for us our scooter when we decided to leave in the first ferry. They also took us to the port by car.

My family and I loved every minute of our stay at the beautifully renovated La Gancia! We stayed with a 4 month old baby and the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and happy! Lovely homely atmosphere provided by Rosanna, Carmalucha, Laura and Luna, but in a very professional manner. Plentiful, fresh and healthy breakfast. Good location in centre of town, but still very quiet. Excellent kitchen facilities with refrigerator, cooker and utensils. Beautiful, peaceful gardens and courtyard. Wi-Fi and multi-channel TV. Loads of space in very clean rooms, balconies with sea view and huge comfortable beds.

This is a unique property - an old manor house, fully restored, a producing vineyard and an excellent estate wine that is well worth the modest price. Perfectly situated next to the beach with views along the coast and the old town. 2 minute walk to cafes and restaurants. The staff were all welcoming and professional. Room spotless and comfortable. Even supplied insect repellent although no problem with mosquitoes in April. Breakfast included local fresh fruit. -
