I would really like to recimmend this hotel. I was staying there in May
2013. The hotel is located in the very city center in the beginning of a
pedestrian area. It is nice looking, new and super clean. Besides all
the neccessary stuff like a bed you can also find in the room a big
sofa, new tv, Nespresso coffee machine, minibar, wardrobe, etc. The
bathroom is also new and bog enough.

- Excelent staff, very helpful and friendly. They give you good advice on what to do, discounts for scooter renting and they even returned for us our scooter when we decided to leave in the first ferry. They also took us to the port by car.

every way. It made for a family type of environment, which was
absolutely perfect for my solo trip to the islands. I would definitely

My family and I loved every minute of our stay at the beautifully renovated La Gancia! We stayed with a 4 month old baby and the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and happy! Lovely homely atmosphere provided by Rosanna, Carmalucha, Laura and Luna, but in a very professional manner. Plentiful, fresh and healthy breakfast. Good location in centre of town, but still very quiet. Excellent kitchen facilities with refrigerator, cooker and utensils. Beautiful, peaceful gardens and courtyard. Wi-Fi and multi-channel TV. Loads of space in very clean rooms, balconies with sea view and huge comfortable beds.

This is one of the best hotels in Sicily and a good reason to choose Scicli as a base. This was our second stay and we will come again. Rooms are luxurious, some with splendid painted ceilings. All have luxurious modern bathrooms. Breakfast is ample and various - perhaps the best we have sampled.

The location, up a private road, was superb giving wonderful views of
the surrounding countryside and even a glimpse of the sea. The
restaurant was excellent as was the service. Tomasso, one of the
waiters, was excellent and also very funny! Breakfast was moderate - we
had better breakfasts at other hotels during our trip. -

Great dinner, reasonably priced, and breakfast; lovely walks. SOme of the facilities, such as gym were not available for some reason but we did not really mind.

We enjoyed our stay here very much: the infrastructure is a recent renovation with qualitative material. The rooms are nice and very clean and designed functionally. The accomodation is managed by 4 women (Barbara, Katia, Margherita and Mima) who are doing this with great passion. Also the kitchen is very good. A lovely quiet place to stay and start from here the discovery of the west coast of Sicily.
